Palettes Revisited: MAC Manish Arora

I ran out of Urban Decay palettes to do tutorials on so I decided to use a MAC one I have had for about 5 years. This sold out very quickly when released so I think a lot of people must own it, therefore a tutorial has use. Also, all of the colours except Going Bananas and Playful are in MAC's permanent line, so most are easily accessible if anyone wants to replicate this look.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - Colourful

When I was planning my tutorials using this palette my mind drew a complete blank on how to put the colours together in a way that didn't look like a mess. I'm big on colourful eyeshadow looks of course! But I just could not think of a good way to place the colours, especially without it looking too much like my other palette tutorials. Eventually I figured it out, and so that's why there was such a big gap between this tutorial and the last from this palette.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay Deluxe Palette

looking a little 'well loved'
This is probably one of my favourite palettes (I have a lot of favourites...and a lot of palettes), and I've owned it for a very long time now, since I'm pretty sure it was the first eyeshadow palette I ever bought. It has a really good selection of colours, and the eyeshadows are all wonderful quality. They are all 'deluxe' colours, which could be bought as individual 'deluxe eyeshadows'. The only downside to them would be that they are a little fragile! They're soft, well pigmented and blend amazingly, but as soon as you use something like a blending brush it really stabs through the shadow and you get a bit of mess over your palette. I'm thinking it also means the eyeshadows don't last as well as other shadows do because you can quite easily hit pan if you use any of these at all regularly.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette - Darks

I have had this look planned for a while now, and I've finally gotten around to recording it! Just a dark eyeshadow look using the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette, that I actually ended up liking a lot more than I thought I would. Omen is a really gorgeous colour, especially on the inner third of the eyes, and I need to use it more.

Palettes Revisited: Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette - Colour

As promised, I've created a second look using the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette. I'm really trying to use as many of the colours as I can because I want to get more use out of it (:
