I finally decided to recreate one of my favourite makeup looks!
The makeup in the photos below is by Chereine Waddell, and they're some of my favourite images and makeup looks I've ever seen. I actually found the photos a long time ago on tumblr, but never knew who did the makeup so I forgot about it. Eventually I rediscovered the images in my 'inspiration' file and decided it was time to find out who the makeup artist was and to recreate the makeup. I just uploaded one of the images into Google and I found Chereine's website straight away. I believe it's very important to credit the original artist when recreating a look!
I don't have the hair, camera, photoshop or modeling skills to be able to recreate the original images, but I tried my best with the makeup, and I think even though it's not exactly the same that it's at least recognisable as a recreation (I hope)! Bear in mind this look only really works when the eyes are closed or looking down, once they're open you lose all the detail, which is why in the images the models are both looking down.
The product list is lengthy because I tried my best to recreate the original look on the skin, too. I know this is not my forté so I didn't film that bit, and it would have made the video sooo long. The idea behind the skin is that it looks shiny in the right places, and the contour looks like it was done with either blush or pink eyeshadow. So that's basically what I was going for, and had to apply a lot of cheek highlight since my camera can never capture it!
