Classic Black Smokey Eye Tutorial

I decided to film a tutorial for this because it is one of those standard go-to night out looks that people like to do, but perhaps don't know what the best products or techniques are to get it to look how they want it to.

Not many products are required, so this is a relatively simple look, it's just a case of knowing how to do it. The main things to remember when doing a smokey eye, especially one so dark, is to make sure the colour is PACKED ON where it needs to be so that the colour is dense, and that the outer edges are blended well enough. Once you have those things in mind, and practice a few times you will learn how heavy or light handed to be and the best thing to do in terms of your own eye shape or the look you want to achieve.

Eyes
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
MAC Paint Pot - Blackground
Urban Decay NP2 e/s - Blackout & Bootycall
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Pencil - Perversion
No. 7 Extreme Length Mascara - Black
MAC False Lashes - #7

Lips
MAC Lipglass - Love Nectar (Lustreglass)

It's not that pink in person

Can't take a good picture, one of my eyes kept looking more open than the other >.<

So I hope you liked this look and found the tutorial helpful (:

  1. This is the perfect black smokey eye, the black is so dark too that it looks even better than most smokey eyes you see people do.

Love the lip glass shade, it's so pretty and really works with the dark eye make up. :)

Keep up the great looks, I'm subscribed to your YouTube channel and have followed you on Bloglovin'.

    1. Thanks so much for all your support and comments. I always find it hard to really have my appreciation come across properly, but I really do appreciate it, it's so nice to know people like what I am doing (:
